We are looking for a host family for a female student from our sister school, Fuchu High School, in Hiroshima.  They will be here from March 23 to April 6, 2019. The students will be attending classes at Mililani High School every day.  Part of the goal of this homestay is for the Fuchu students to experience daily life as a typical teenager as well as practicing their English language skills.  Knowledge of Japanese is not required. Please don’t feel that you have to go out of your way or inconvenience yourself for them. However, we do request that our host families pick up and drop off their exchange student at the airport upon their arrival and for their departure.  The main responsibility of the host is to provide meals and lodging in a welcoming environment. The student you host will give you a $300 stipend to offset costs, however, part of the stipend will be used to open a cafeteria account at MHS so that you will not have to prepare lunch for your exchange student.  If you are interested, please send an email to [email protected], [email protected], or [email protected] or see any of the teachers in N201, N203 or N204.
