Mililani High School Faculty Housing Discussion at Neighborhood Board Meeting

The Mililani Neighborhood Board #25 will hold its monthly meeting on Wednesday, October 23rd, at 7:30 PM at Mililani High School's H Building. One of the key agenda items, listed under “Presentations” will be a discussion listed as agenda item "B" on the Proposed Teacher Workforce Housing Project for Mililani High School, presently proposed to be located at the corner of Meheula Parkway and Ho‘okelewa‘a Street.

Ms. Cheri Nakamura from the State of Hawai‘i School Facilities Authority ("SFA") will provide a brief 5-minute presentation on their agency's proposed project.  After her presentation, we will open the floor for questions and comments from both the community and board members. This will be an excellent opportunity for Mililani residents, faculty, staff, and students to voice their questions, concerns, and feedback on the record, which will be beneficial not only for public and community awareness but also for the SFA's awareness.

Please encourage all interested Mililani High School faculty, staff, students, and community members to attend this meeting. It will be the first public presentation made by the State of Hawai‘i School Facilities Authority to our Neighborhood Board, while the information will be preliminary, I look forward to future discussions and potential actions on behalf of the Mililani community in future meetings.

Community members who wish to submit written testimony can follow the guidelines provided by the Neighborhood Commission, which I’ve included here for your convenience:
"All written testimony must be received in the Neighborhood Commission Office 48 hours prior to the meeting. If within 48 hours, written and/or oral testimony may be submitted directly to the board at the meeting. If submitting written testimony, please note the board and agenda item(s) your testimony concerns. Send to: Neighborhood Commission Office, 925 Dillingham Boulevard, Suite 160 Honolulu, Hawaiʻi 96817. Fax: (808) 768-3711. Email: [email protected]."

Please note that written testimony is not required. Community members may speak at our Neighborhood Board meeting by raising their hand (in-person or online), and once recognized by the Chair, state their name for the record, and share their comments or questions. The rules for speaking are also listed on the agenda.

This meeting will be held in a hybrid format, allowing for both in-person and online attendance. For those joining online, please note that the City and County uses WebEx as the platform for our hybrid meetings. The login details are as follows:
