Attention Trojan Class of 2023

Do you speak a second Language?  Is English the second language in your home?  Have you taken an AP Language Exam and scored a 3 or higher?  If your answer to any of these questions is YES! … then please consider applying for the Seal of Biliteracy.  

The Seal of Biliteracy is recognition for graduating high school students who have attained a high level of proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing in one or more languages in addition to English.  Students have the option of demonstrating language proficiency through the Advanced Placement Assessment or the Avant Assessment which is administered by our Campus Assistant Testing Coordinator, Mrs. Blalock.  The Application Deadlines for students are as follows:

• By 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 1, 2022: for applicants who wish to take the Advanced Placement (AP) language exams in School Year 2022-2023

• By 3:00 p.m. on Monday, November 7, 2022: the first application deadline for all other applicants
